PUPPY PURCHASE INFORMATION

Puppy Purchase Information Each litter we produced is done so with careful planning, consideration, love, time, effort and expense. We choose to breed a limited number of litters each year to ensure that we are producing superior puppies with the health and well being of the mother and puppies our foremost concern. All of our litters are planned and the conformation, bloodlines and temperments of the dogs are carefully considered prior to the breeding of a litter. Our puppies are priced $225.00 to $560.00, depending on the bloodlines, and are sold as companions on a *spay/neuter agreement. Occasionally a puppy may be sold to a fellow reputable breeder. Breeding dogs are sold on a VERY limited basis and pricing varies. Before you purchase your puppy, consider the following questions: 1. Does your breeder provide any type of health guarantee ? We guarantee our puppies against infectious disease for 7 days from the day they leave our care. All of our puppies come with their first set of vaccinations which will help protect them from illnesses such as Parvo virus during this time period. 2. Does your breeder offer any type of compatibility guarantee? If for some reason you do not care for the puppy after meeting it in person, we will gladly exchange it for a different puppy. 3. Can you see your puppies parents and visit the breeder's home? All of our puppies' parents are available to be seen in person or on our website. We welcome prospective puppy owner visits. BEWARE of breeder's who do not want you to visit! Oftentimes breeders who do not allow visitors are running puppy mills. 4. What breed organizations is the breeder affiliated with? A reputable breeder will be involved in organizations that strive to preserve and protect the integrity of the breed. We are affiliated with the Russell Terrier Foundation Club (RTFC), which is an organization dedicated to protecting the integrity of the Russell Terrier breed. In addition, we are also a member of the English Jack Russell Terrier Club Alliance (EJRTCA). All of our dogs are eligible for registration with the EJRTCA, UKC and have been registered with the AKC as foundation stock. Can be registered with proper paper work.

Buyer's responsibilities... 1. It is the buyer's responsibility to have the puppy vaccinated against communicable diseases, rabies and place the puppy on heartworm and flea preventative under the direction of a licensed veterinarian. Hoosier Canuck Kennells will not be held liable for the owner's neglect. 2. The buyer declares that he/she is not affiliated with a pet store or puppy brokerage in any manner. 3. Puppies sold on a *spay/neuter agreement are required to have the procedure done by a licensed veterinarian on or before 6 months of age. Failure to do so will render all guarantees null and void. We Hoosier Canuck Kennels will give the puppy a Distemper shot and Hepitites shots. We will have them checked for worms. We will issue a health garentee for each dog sold
